‘All Future Generations’ is an experimental film that explores the histories of 2D animation, labor, anthropomorphism, and phantasmagoria in cinema. It uses early animation processes, from tracing paper to cel sheet animations, and personal audio recordings to delve into stories of vision loss, hallucinations, the subconscious, and the material residues of gendered labor. Interviews with the artist’s grandmother are interspersed with archival recordings and distorted foley audio. The sound was made in collaboration with Lisa Fabian (Mondlane).

Siri Black (b. 1997, Berlin) works across installation, photography and film. In her practice she seeks to understand machines, systems of perception, and the imaginary. She is drawn to moments where human comprehension fails, where objects approach aliveness on their own terms. The work is often informed by personal or marginal histories, attending to vision as something constructed and active, shaped by the instruments through which it passes. She graduated from Städelschule, Frankfurt, and recently showed works at Zyrland Zoiropa, Berlin, LICHTER Filmfest, Frankfurt, Forecast Forum, Berlin and at the Goethe-Institute, Glasgow. In 2026 she received the Karl and Lore Nebendorf Stiftung Stipend and the R&S Invest Film Prize.
